ENGINEERING CORNER: Why do we have to use mounts for our tanks?

All of our tanks must be contained when the tank is in operations. Most customers use a picture frame cradle to contain the tank. Also, when the tank is empty, you must keep the tank from bouncing out of the cradle and damaging itself. Most customers use some type of top pressure such as bracing below the hose bed to keep the tank contained.  Or, you can use specific tank mounting blocks on the bottom of your tank to secure to the sub-frame.  You can also use some type of over the tank strap and/or other security measures to keep the tank secure when empty.

I encourage you to review our full mounting instructions for additional information: MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
